How Quran Memorization Works
Goal
Memorization of the complete Quran
Class Duration
45 min - 1 hour
Timings
Based on your subscription (5-6 days/week class is a must who are starting to memorize)
Prerequisites
- Age must be 7 or above.
- Kids must have read prior at least 15 Chapters (Paras) of Quran
- Recitation (Nazira) should be very good. If not good then a 1 month special class is conducted
- Students who have already memorized else where can also take this course to improve their memorization
Time taken to Memorize
- For Age 7 to 9 years: Time to memorize is 3 years)
- For Age 9+ years: 2 years (for a sharp student) and 3 years (for an average student)
Note: In 2 months insha-Allah, we will tell you roughly how much time it will take your to memorize the complete Quran
Strategy
- Start from 30th Chapter (Para) then 1st Chapter and so on
- One or Two new Chapter (Para) will be memorized, every month
- Every month One or Two previously memorized Chapters (Para) will be revised
- On Hifz completion, a test will be conducted by the teacher and our Head Quran Teacher
- If the student passes this test then an e-Certificate will be issued with the marks obtained
- Passing Marks are 80%
